Where to buy tickets for the 2024 Paralympic Games?

The 2024 Paralympic Games will take place from August 28 to September 8 2024 in France. Only one official website ensures the sale of tickets for the sports events or for the so-called tailor-made "packs". More information in this article about buying tickets for the 2024 Paralympics.

Only one official website sells tickets for the French 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games: Paris 2024 Official Ticketing – Olympic and Paralympic Games

This Paris 2024 Organising Committee secures and operates the website.

Ticket prices range from 15 to 700 €, depending on the type of event and the place of the competition. You can buy up to 30 tickets per account.

Since May 2024, you can also buy tickets from other buyers via the official resale platform. You will then have to download the “Paris 2024 Tickets” app.

Several offers are available:

  • Customised packs (first tickets up for sale). The tailor-made pack allows you to select tickets for 3 competition sessions. It covers all the sports and venues, except surfing for which you can buy single tickets.
  • Single tickets ;
  • "Hospitality" and "Travel" packages. The hospitality programme, developed by the Paris 2024 Organising Committee, offers standard and tailor-made packages that include guaranteed tickets to the sporting events, access to in-stadium and out-of-stadium hospitality areas as well as travel, accommodation, cultural activities, fine dining and sporting offers. These packages are only available through On Location.

Yes. Tickets for the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games are available for sale on the official website. Prices range from 150 to 700 euros. You can buy up to 20 tickets.

Beware of any offer or e-mail that promises you free tickets in return for delivery fees! They are most probably scams. Paris 2024 does not deliver paper tickets, only digital ones. Scammers may not only be interested in your money, but also in your personal data and bank details. Do not fill in any online form for registration to the opening ceremony if you have the slightest doubt about the identity of the sender. If you have any concerns, you can write to the PARIS 2024 team: integrityandenforcement@paris2024.org

When you buy online, you have at least a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, when buying tickets for leisure activities on specific dates, there is usually no legal right of cancellation.

So you cannot cancel purchased Olympic Games tickets and you will not receive a refund!

No.

The official ticketing website is the sole authorised seller of tickets for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This means that no other parties have authorisation to sell tickets either from sales outlets or websites.

The official website prohibits the sale of tickets and packages outside and this constitutes an offence (article 313.6.2 of the French penal code).

It is also very risky. You might pay much more for a ticket than its face value, and you could be refused entry to the event if you purchased a fake ticket or an electronic ticket sold several times.

Do not hesitate to report this website on the platform of the French fraud control authority via SignalConso.

If you are a victim of a fraud or scam, file a preliminary complaint with the policeMasécurité.fr (interieur.gouv.fr)

The "Paris 2024 tickets" application allows you to retrieve your tickets on your smartphone. You need to download the application and then log in using the e-mail address and password you used when you purchased your ticket.

By clicking on the ticket in the application, you will get a QR code (available a few hours before the start of the session). To access the session on the day, you will need to display this QR code on your mobile device.

Good to know: Tickets are only available in electronic format. If you do not have a connected device or your smartphone is too old to download the app, print out the purchase confirmation received by email and take it with you. At the entrance to the session sites, present yourself at the ticket office with your ID and order number (which you will find in your confirmation email).

A ticket resale application, "Paris 2024 tickets", was launched in May 2024. After downloading and connecting to the app, you can sell your ticket if you can no longer come. Or you can buy tickets if you were unable to do so during the initial sales phases. This is the only official resale platform for ticket holders. Any resale outside this platform is forbidden.

To resell a ticket, simply select the "Resell" option in the application. The resale price is the same as the initial purchase price. A service fee will be applied: 5% of the ticket’s value for the reseller and 10% for the buyer. You will receive the money from the resale by the same means of payment used for the initial purchase.

Please note! You have a certain period of time in which to resell your tickets. Once this deadline has passed, if you have not managed to resell, you will be obliged to keep your tickets.

To buy a ticket from a private individual, however, you need to go to the official ticket resale platform.

You can also transfer tickets to a relative via a download link. The beneficiary must also use the official ticketing platform or application and create an account. The beneficiary may not resell the ticket, but may return it to the buyer.

Whether you wish to resell, buy or transfer a ticket for the Paralympic Games, you will need a Paris 2024 account. You should also read the general terms and conditions of sale beforehand.
