Collective Redress

Stakeholder from all over Europe discussed the issue of collective redress for consumers in Europe on the 9th and 10th of November 2007.

In the conference economic as well as legal challenges of collective redress mechanisms were discussed by high-ranking participants like Meglena Kuneva (European Commissioner for Consumer Protection) and Diana Wallis (Vice President of the European Parliament).

From a consumer perspective a European collective redress mechanism is absolutely desirable.
