Disputes concerning these topics in France have now their ADR body*
This ADR has been set up at the end of October 2009 by the FP2E, the French professional federation of water companies which groups almost all private companies in the water and wastewater services sector.
Mission: to bring closer, independently and impartial, the points of view of consumers and professionals. At the end of the ADR procedure, both parties remain free to follow -or not- the decision of the ADR.
Long term objective: improve the service for customers by analyzing the complaints.
Condition: be a consumer in dispute with a member company of the FP2E concerning the execution of a water supply or purification service.
All internal complaint resolution mechanisms and remedies of the company involved have to be exhausted.
