Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) bodies assist in out of court settlements of consumer disputes. The ECCs in Kehl will often refer consumers to the appropriate ADR body in order to quickly and effectively solve their disputes. The ECCs in Kehl are in contact with hundreds of ARD bodies specializing in various aspects of consumer affairs.
Due to the low amount of money involved, a lot of consumer disputes are not suitable for a time consuming and expensive judicial procedure. In this booklet, we would like to draw
your attention to the existence of alternative means of redress which can help consumers in dispute with a trader in another EU Member State, Iceland or Norway.
