Boarding denied

...because of reduced mobility

According to the legislation in this sector, if persons with reduced mobility (PRM) are denied boarding, they should ask the airline to explain the denial in writing. They can also ask for reimbursement of the cost of the ticket or for the re-routing to their point of departure or their final destination, for themselves and, if applicable, an accompanying person, as in the case of cancellations or long delays.

In case of an unjustified denial, or a missing or insufficient assistance service during the trip, persons with reduced mobility can address their claim to the airline or the airport administration. If you disagree with their proposition, contact the national enforcement body (see the list of national enforcement bodies) of the country where the incident happened, and in case of an European flight, your European Consumer Centre (see the list of ECCs).
