This anti tobacco prevention day took place on May the 28th on
the Agora place in Brussels under the aegis of the European health
commissioner Androulla Vassiliou and of Brussels’ Mayor Freddy
Thielemans.
This day was mainly turned to young smokers. This day took place within the framework of the campaign "Help - For a life without tobacco " launched by the European Commission.
With the same idea, the on-line game " nicomarket ", which has already been seen by more than 3,5 million Internet users has certainly had an undeniable impact, by presenting in a more playful way the dangers incurred by the smokers, who could measure the rate of carbon monoxide present in their lungs quite as the not smokers who are too often exposed to the smoke of others.
