A new act from January 1st in 2009 will once again spoil overpriced calls for special telephone numbers which had already been restricted in 2008.
According to that act, no company, regardless of the branch it belongs to, has the right to make consumers pay overpriced charges for telephone numbers set up to take in complaints or conclusions of contracts. The article L113-5 of the French consumer code is therefore worth remembering.
However, in case of a consultation before signing a contract, companies are allowed to take 0.34€ per minute or more…
